Walter Gene Johnson

Graveside services for Mr. Walter Gene Johnson, age 72, will be held at 2 pm Monday, July 22, 2024, at Providence Cemetery with Bro. Vernon Brice officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am – 1 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home before the service.

Mr. Johnson passed away on July 18, 2024, at his home in Jackson, TN. He was born in Crockett County on October 7, 1951, to the late Aubrey Johnson and Irene Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Sue Holder Johnson; son, Micheal Gene Johnson; brothers, Delbert Johnson, Edward Johnson; sister, Linda Bishop.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughters, Beverly Harrison, Lucinda Johnson; sisters, Diane Simpson, Patricia Hall; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
