Vivian Virginia Jones

Graveside services for Mrs. Vivian Virginia Jones, age 93, will be held at 2 pm on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Shady Grove Cemetery in Saltillo, TN. Visitation with the family will be held form 10 am – 12 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Jones passed away on July 11, 2025, at her home in Jackson, TN. She was born on June 4, 1932, in Beech Bluff, TN to the late Frank Ross and Beatrice Hamilton Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Jones; brothers, Alonzo Ross, Charles Ross, Edward Ross; sister, Mary Blankenship.

Mrs. Jones loved to sew and was a talented seamstress. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was known for her bakery skills with her specialty being her classic pound cakes.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Connie Jones Willis (Gary); sisters, Lois Ann Holland, Caroline Pettie, Rheba Phillips (David); sister-in-law, Sue Ross; several loving nieces and nephews.
