Terry W Darnall

Terry W. Darnall, age 89, passed away September 6, 2025, in Jackson, TN. He was born in Hornbeak, TN, February 18, 1936, to the late Denton and Eva Fields Darnall.

Terry graduated from Hornbeak High School in 1954. He will be remembered for his athletic abilities in both high school and college. He led his Hornbeak High teammates to seventy victories in seventy-five games during his junior and senior years. As a member of the 1954 high school graduating class, he was selected as a member of the southern team to play in the North-South All-Star Basketball Classic. In college, he lettered all four years in basketball, baseball and track. During his last two years at Murray State, he was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference in basketball. He graduated from Murray State University in 1959.

In later years, Terry won a number of tennis tournaments for his play in Seniors-Doubles.
