Sue Vestal Donley was born January 22, 1940 in Jackson, TN to Bonnie Eli Vestal and Maudie Mae Vestal. She grew up in East Jackson and attended Beech Bluff High School where she graduated in 1958. She was a member of the Beech Bluff Baptist Church. Sue spent the majority of her life as a homemaker and caretaker for many. She loved to travel and took many trips with friends and family. Her main hobby was reading. She read thousands of books throughout her life.

Sue had a funny and colorful personality. She firmly believed in plenty of jewelry, lipstick, and blush.

She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Helen Trimmer, Ann Morton Wood, Hazel Martin and Bonnie Ray Vestal.

She is survived by her children, Steven Thomason (Mary) and Stacey Thomason Azbill; three grandchildren, Tiffany Gooch (Javin), Corey Thomason (Jennifer), Libby Azbill; four great grandchildren, McKenna Gooch, Knox Thomason, Tripp Hinson, and Trace Hinson.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 18, 2023, 5 - 8 pm and Wednesday April 19th, 11 - 1 pm. Funeral Service will be April 19, 2023, 1 pm at Lawrence - Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Opie Dodrill officiating.

Pallbearers will be Corey Thomason, Javin Gooch, Tony Gooch, and John Hinson.
