Shirley Warren Cordle

Graveside services for Mrs. Shirley Warren Cordle, age 97, of Jackson, TN. will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Jackson, TN. at 1:00 pm with Josh Cook officiating. Mrs. Cordle passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020. She was born on November 14, 1922, to her parents Cecil Warren and Fannie Mae Wright Warren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Richard Cordle; two sons, Richard M. Cordle, and James R. Cordle; four brothers, William H. Warren, C.B. Warren Jr., George A. Warren, and Roy H. Warren; son-in-law James Sumler and, and one granddaughter, Denise Sumler. Mrs. Cordle is survived by daughters, Janice C. Sumler, Aleeta C. Smith (Steven M), Linda Whitaker Cordle; sister-in-law, Mary Pate Warren; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece Brenda W. Veerhusen who has been her loving caregiver for almost three years. Mrs. Cordle was also a lifetime Church of Christ member.
