Shirley Marie Browning

Funeral liturgy for Mrs. Shirley Marie Browning, age 81, will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Deacon J. R. Hobbs officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 11-1 pm before the funeral liturgy.

Mrs. Browning passed away on February 27, 2026, in Jackson, TN. She was born on January 24, 1945, in Phenix City, AL to the late Douglas Hedden and Mary Smooter Hedden. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul, Bill, Ed and David Hedden.

Mrs. Browning is survived by her children, Mary Teuton (Jason), Geneva Lacroix (Kendrick), Marcus Browning, Anna Browning; brothers, Curtis Hedden, Calvin Hedden; grandchildren, Olivia Robertson (Tyler), Kiley Gray (Jordan), Alex Patterson, Gabriel Patterson; great grandchildren, Tatum Robertson, Fallon Robertson. 

She was a loving devoted mother and grandmother. She was generous of soul and spirit and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
