Sherrell Dorris

Funeral services for Mrs. Sherrell Dorris, age 82, will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Bass officiating. Internment will follow in Liberty Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am – 12 pm before the service.

Mrs. Dorris passed away on August 23, 2026, at Brookdale Jackson Oaks in Jackson, TN. She was born on June 20, 1944, in Jackson, TN to the late W. Rufus Noe and Mae BoBo Noe. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Neil Dorris.

Mrs. Dorris is survived by her daughters, Debra Byrum (Mike), Dawn Dorris; brother, Phil Noe (Ginger); grandchildren, Dalton McClain, Michelle Byrum, James Byrum, Jonathan Byrum (Tosha); great grandchildren, Dylan Lovejoy, Leah Lovejoy, Nick Byrum, Knoxlee Byrum, Brooklyn Byrum, Savannah Lawrence, Noah Burns, and Jonah Burns.
