Roy Darrell Elder

Funeral services for Mr. Roy Darrell Elder, age 66, will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.

Mr. Elder passed away on August 15, 2026, in Jackson, TN. He was born December 9, 1959, in Jackson, TN to the late Roy Junior Elder and Margaret Holt Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Harrial Davis.

Mr. Elder is survived by his wife, Susie Elder; sons, Daniel Elder (Terrie), Nick Elder (Jessica); daughter, Caitlyn Young (Nick); brother, Paul Elder; sister, Deborah Garner; grandchildren, Fisher Elder and Asher Young.
