Ronald Paul Montgomery

Ronald Paul Montgomery, born August 1, 1945, passed away on September 24, 2026 in Jackson, TN. He was the son of the late Lon Montgomery and Edna Montgomery. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, James Walkup, and his brother, Roger Montgomery. He leaves behind his wife, Mona Montgomery; nephew, Lonnie Montgomery; nieces, Tracy Webb (Stacy)and Andrea Frazier (Nick)along with several great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Ronald graduated from South Side High School in 1965. He later dedicated many years of service to the community through his work with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, from which he retired. 

Ronald was well-liked by everyone who knew him and truly never met a stranger. His friendly nature, kind heart, and ability to make people feel welcome will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed, but the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. 

Ronald chose to be cremated and his wishes are being carried out.
