Ray Lester Turner

Mr. Ray Lester Turner, age 93, passed away on June 19, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born on November 20, 1927, in Jasper, AL to the late James Hiram Walker and Lura Bell Whitley. Mr. Turner was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Turner; two sisters, and four brothers. Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Maida Ellen Turner; son, John Turner (Wendy); grandchildren, Jonathon Turner (Michelle), Dakota Holloway (Hailee); great grandchildren, Braxton Holloway, and Kye Turner.
