Mary Sue Richardson James

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Sue Richardson James, age 79, will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with David Kay officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-6 pm Thursday at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.

Mrs. James passed away on November 17, 2025, in Memphis, TN. She was born on June 15, 1946, in Henderson, TN to the late Floyd Richardson and Willie Sue Muse Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dwight James; son, Christopher Shane Wray; sister, Barbara Richardson; brother, David Richardson.

Mrs. James is survived by her sons, Nelson Keith Wray (Cathy), Kiplynn Wray (Paul Bowen); daughters, Kimberly Taylor, Misty Wray; brothers, Robert “Buddy” Richardson, Carroll Richardson; grandchildren, Cliff, Jarrod, Kristen, Ambur, Kayla, Ashley, Noah and eleven great grandchildren.

Mrs. James was loved and well known by her community.
