Mary Frances Sullivan

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Frances Sullivan, age 99, will be held at 1 pm Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Bro. Gerald Smith officiating. Mrs. Sullivan passed away on March 18, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 20, 1922, in Jackson, TN to the late James Murry and Mary Frances Roe Pate. She was a member of Lambuth Memorial Methodist Church. Frances was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She touched so many through her love of cooking and needle work. Frances retired as a partner and buyer for Truell Inc., with an expertise in china, crystal and silver. Mrs. Sullivan is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Bernie “Smokey” Sullivan; sisters, June Waynick, Nancy Anderson, Donna White; brothers, James Murry Pate Jr., Bobby Pate, and Charlie Pate. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her daughters, Pat McCommon (Bubba) of Jackson, TN, Fran Peters (Gordon) of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Wade Smith (Jane) of Jackson, TN, Dr. Bri Fredrich (Craig) of Clinton, IA; great grandchild, Eli Fredrich; siblings, Billy Pate and Peggy Sipes both of Jackson, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
