Graveside services for Mrs. Mary C. Edwards, age 86, will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Rushing Cemetery with Bro. Don Roe and Bro. Dennis Serratt officiating. Mrs. Edwards passed away on January 20, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born on July 25, 1934, to the late Arthur Cummings and Mary Moore Cummings. Mrs. Edwards in survived by her husband, Herman Slott; daughters, Karen Harris, Mary Lee Garrett; brother, Bob Cummings (Leola); sisters, Rebecca Beard (Jack-deceased), Martha Blassingame (Tommy), Linda Graves (Allen); grandchildren, Don Roe (Melinda), Josh Roe (Mary Beth); great grandchild, Max Roe.
