Karen Sue Tweed

Funeral services for Mrs. Karen Sue Tweed, age 72, will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021, in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Dr. Philip Jet and Rev. Bill George officiating. Internment will take place on Monday, May 10, 2021, 9:30 am, at the TN State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads. Mrs. Tweed passed away on May 5, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born on November 15, 1948. Mrs. Tweed proudly served in the United States Air Force. She is preceded in death by her father; brothers, David Gourley, Paul Gourley, and her child, Charlie. Mrs. Tweed is survived by her mother, Rebecca McNeely Gourley Dedmon. Visitation with the family will be held form 9-10 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
