Doris Irene Simpson Stringfellow

Mrs. Doris Irene Simpson Stringfellow, age 90, passed away on September 3, 2026, in Medon, TN. She was born on February 14, 1936, in Tipton County to the late Readis Matthew Simpson and Tamsy Prosser. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert W. Stringfellow; grandson, Nicholas Stringfellow; brothers, John Robert Simpson, James Simpson, Alfred Simpson, and Melvin Simpson.

Mrs. Stringfellow is survived by her sons, Bobby Ray Stringfellow (Sharon), William Joseph “Billy” Stringfellow (Joyce), Ricky Lee Stringfellow (Denise); daughter, Lisa West (Wallace); sisters, Alice Mae Bristol, Clara Branch; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial visitation for Mrs. Stringfellow on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 2-4 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
