Deborah Lynn Smith

Memorial services for Mrs. Deborah Lynn Smith, age 69, will be held at 1 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am – 1 pm before the service. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mrs. Smith passed away peacefully at her home on June 5, 2024. She was born on December 12, 1954, in DeKalb County, GA to the late Herman Mathis and Ester Powers. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Smith.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Shea Brooks; stepson, Jason Smith (Stephanie); daughter, Danette Hardee (Keith); stepdaughter, Janna Hinely (Joe); brothers, Donnie Banks (Jeanie), Robbie Banks (Marlene); sister, Angie Smith (Ronald); ten grandchildren.
