David Dewitt

David J. DeWitt, age 68, died suddenly on December 5, 2022. David was born at Ft. Campbell in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on December 4, 1954. David graduated from Jackson Central Merry High and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. He is a veteran who served as a medic in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his brother James G. Dewitt of Jackson; his sisters, Jean S. Kendall of Memphis, Silver DeWitt of Columbus, Georgia, and Dorthy D. Smith of Houston, Texas; his nephew, Christopher B. Tatom of Memphis and niece, Alison M. Smith of Houston, Texas and his beloved cats.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
