Mr. Daniel Edward Thompson, Sr., age 65, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Jackson, TN. He was born on May 25, 1961, in Portsmouth, VA to Ralph Thompson and Angela Proctor Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Thompson.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his mother, Angela Thompson; sons, Wayne Thompson (Cindy), Jarrett Thompson (Megan), Daniel Edward Thompson, Jr.; daughter, Kami Thompson; brother, John Thompson (Erica); grandchildren, Chloe Thompson, Henry Thompson, and Jacob Thompson.

The family of Mr. Thompson will hold a memorial service at a later date.
