Christy Pomeroy Smith

A memorial service for Ms. Christy Pomeroy Smith, age 48, will be held at 5 pm Friday, January 3, 2025, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home North Chapel in Humboldt, TN. Visitation with the family will be held from 3-5 pm before the service.

Ms. Smith passed away on December 24, 2024. She was born on June 12,1976, in Memphis, TN. She was a dedicated psychiatric nurse at Pathways. She is preceded in death by her father, William Pomeroy; sister in law, Kelley Goodwin; and her special pet, Poncho.

Ms. Smith is survived by her mothers, Joyce Pomeroy and Gail Strain; daughter, Hayleigh Smith and her father, Jeremy Smith; brothers, Chris Goodwin, Toby Strain (Stephanie), and David Strain; sister, Jessica Strain; her chihuahuas, Pippi, Stinky, and Pedro.
