Carolyn Ann McCoy Buddie

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Ann McCoy Buddie, age 72, will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Br. Allen Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am – 1 pm before the service.

Mrs. Buddie passed away on August 22, 2026, in Portageville, MO. She was born on December 17, 1953, in Madison County, TN to the late James Edward McCoy and Audrey Hampton McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlotte Sue McCoy Hudson; brothers, Larry McCoy and David McCoy.

Mrs. Buddie is survived by her husband, Donald John Buddie, Sr.; son, Donald John Buddie, Jr. (Angel); daughters, Traci Anne King, Stephanie Buddie, Jamie Little (Mark); brother, Ronald Joe McCoy; sister, Patricia Kay Doolin (Mike); thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
