Carlton Wayne Barrett

Mr. Carlton Wayne Barrett, age 86, passed away on September 5, 2025, in Jackson, TN. He was born on May 31, 1939, to the late Carl Hugh Tillman Barrett and Susie Blanche Sparkman Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Thomas Lousie Smith Barrett; sister Judith Marilyn Barrett.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his sons, Dan Barrett (Donna), Dave Barrett (Gail); daughters, Veronica Goff (Van), Patricia Sonntag (Craig); grandchildren, Christine Barrett, Jennifer Barrett, Nick Sonntag (Donna), Jamie Cantrell (Jeff), Jason Goff (Kim), Stephanie Mangrum (Justin); great grandchildren, Lily Sonntag, Samantha Sonntag, Cameron Clamp, and Mehgan Mangrum; and great-great grandchildren, Finley and Dawson. 

Graveside serives, with military honors, for Mr. Barrett will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025, at New Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
