Anne Josphine Hale

Anne Josephine Wagner Hale, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, MO.

She was born on October 27, 1939, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Buster Brown “BB” and Bettye Speight Wagner.

She was married for 34 years to Robert Bauer Hale who preceded her in death on November 15, 2010.

She was a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Wagner Hale of Nashville, TN and Daniel Bradford Hale of Sikeston, MO; one daughter, Betty (Al) Jones of Jackson, TN; one sister, Linda (Bob) Burns of Kansas City; grandson, Ty Alan Jones (Ashlie) and great grandson Barrett Jones.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dan Wagner.

A memorial service will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
