Wanda Sue Privett

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Sue Privett, age 84, will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Fruitland Baptist Church with Bro. Andy King and Bro. Gerald Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Nutbush, TN. Mrs. Privett passed away on June 20, 2021, at her home in Fruitland, TN. She was born on August 30, 1936, in Bells, TN to the late Hubert Church and Lena Mae Maness Church. Mrs. Privett has lived in the Fruitland Community since 1957. Mrs. Privett was a long time substitute teacher at Trenton Special School District. She was a hairdresser for over 40 years. A special thanks to Lisa, Tiffany and the rest of the staff of Tennessee Quality Hospice for taking such wonderful care of her. Mrs. Privett is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billy Church, Bobby Church, Larry Church; sister, Faye Vines; son, Michael Privett who passed away on January 27, 2021. Mrs. Privett is survived by her husband of 67 years, Fred Privett; sons, Ricky Privett, Anthony Privett (Teena); daughter, Pam Stephens (Joe) of Brownsville, TN; daughter-in-love, Gail Privett; sister Peggy Erven of Broken Arrow, Ok; sisters-in-love, Joyce Church, Joyce Church, Emilee Church; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be from 12-2 pm, on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Fruitland Baptist Church.
