Walter Irvin Kemp

Funeral service for Mr. Walter Irvin Kemp, age 69, will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 11:00 am at St. Lukes Episcopal Church with Rev. Deacon Tommy Rhoads officiating. Interment will at Nebo Cemetery. Mr. Kemp passed away February 22, 2018, at the TN State Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born December 15, 1948, in Jackson, TN to the late Herschel Kemp and Louise Romans Kemp. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Juanita Kemp; brother, Raymond Kemp; and step-sister, Sherry Beardsley. Mr. Kemp is survived by his wife, Serena Ann Parham Kemp; son, Bryan Kemp (Melanie); daughter, Sarah Kemp; brother, Phillip Kemp ( Linda); step-brother, Montie Matlock (Charlotte); step-brother-in-law, Larry Beardsley; sister, Helen Scott; blessed with three grandchildren, Connor Madison Peoples (Megan), Mia Kemp and Roman Kemp; great-grandchild, Annabelle Peoples all of them greatly loved. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018, from 4-6 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the TN State Veterans Home.
