Stephen Thomas

Memorial services for Mr. Stephen “Roo” Eugene Thomas, age 46, will be held 6 pm Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-6 pm before the service. Stephen passed away on December 30, 2021, at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was born on March 6, 1975, in San Diego, CA to Gary and Lynda Thomas. He married the love of his life, Michelle, on November 3, 2007, in Memphis, TN. Stephen worked as a dispatch supervisor for YRC for over 20 years. He was a devoted husband and daddy. He loved Alabama football, cooking, and taking care of his girls. Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Gary Thomas. Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; his beloved 9-year-old daughter, Dannon; mother, Lynda Thomas; brother, Michael Thomas (Stephanie).
