Minnie Marie Byrum Laird

Funeral services for Ms. Minnie Marie Byrum Laird, age 98, will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at 2 pm in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Laird passed away on November 10, 2019, at Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, TN. She was born on December 15, 1920, in Mercer, TN to the late Clarance Byrum and Lula Lewis Byrum. Ms. Laird is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horace Mack Laird; son, Horace Wayne Laird; sister, Maggie Overton; brothers, Claude Byrum, Harold Byrum, Ted Byrum; grandson, Keith Laird. Ms. Laird is survived by her son, Danny Laird (Susan); daughters, Margie Davis (Edward), Shari Laird; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Ms. Laird will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 1 2 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
