Funeral services for Ms. Mary Maxine Avery Plunk, age 88, will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at 2 pm in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. David Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Plunk passed away on July, 18, 2019, in Jackson, TN. She was born on June 2, 1931, in Alamo, TN to Lloyd Brisentine and Mamie Burns Brisentine. Ms. Plunk is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Dole Edwin Avery; husband, Ray Plunk. Ms. Plunk is survived by son, Terry Avery (Leona); brother, Jerry Brisentine; niece, Maxine Tucker; great niece, Amanda Lewis; nephew, Alan Lewis, Jr.; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Visitation for Ms. Plunk will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019, from 12 2 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
