Martha Lynn Ely Stockard

Graveside services for Mrs. Martha Ely Stockard, age 92, will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020, at 2 pm at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Pastor Courtney Bowen officiating. Mrs. Stockard passed away on July 23, 2020, in Jackson, TN. She was born on December 27, 1927, to the late Arthur Ely and Nelle Lane. Mrs. Stockard loved fashion. She retired from Kisbers where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Women. Mrs. Stockard was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Lynn Stockard Pierce, Laura Ely Wooten; son in law, Bill Pierce. Mrs. Stockard is survived by her daughter, Lark Stockard Taylor (Mike); son in law, Paul Wooten; grandchildren, Polly Robinson (Philip), Paige Jordan (Mark), Ana Taylor; great grandchildren, Reese, Garrett, Jack, Pierce, Cole, Rex, and Jovie. The family would like to thank Regency Retirement for their care and her home for the last few years. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
