Margie Jean Stricklin

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Jean Yelverton Stricklin, age 88, will be held at 1 pm Monday, September 27, 2021, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Gilbreath officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Haywood County. Mrs. Stricklin passed away on September 24, 2021, at Forest Cove Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on December 23, 1932, in Mercer, TN to the late Ivy Franklin Yelverton and Nora Mae Puckett Yelverton. Mrs. Stricklin is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Herbert Albert Stricklin. Mrs. Stricklin is survived by her sons, Terry Allen (Laura), Tommy Tyler (Shelia); daughters, Judy Corcoran, Beth Brooks (Lamar), Belinda Wolfe (Phil), Brandy Connor (Jason); eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am - 1 pm Monday, September 27, 2021, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
