Margaret Marie Rafferty Gant

Graveside services for Mrs. Margaret Marie Rafferty Gant, age 96, will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Bro. Gerald Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 12-1 pm before the graveside service at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gant passed away on February 23, 2023, at her home in Jackson, TN. She was born on December 28, 1926, in Memphis, TN to the late William Henry Rafferty and Emma Nelson Rafferty. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Tillman Gant, Jr.; daughter, Margie Snider; eight brothers and sisters; grandson, Craig Williams; granddaughter, Jessica Gant.

Mrs. Gant is survived by her sons, Bill Gant, David Gant, Charles Gant (Rachel); daughters, Susan Way, Vicki Williams, Harriet Gant; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
