Margaret Alene Evans

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Alene Evans, age 96, will be held at 3 pm Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Lawrence Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Cruthers and Bro. Robert “Opie” Dodrill officiating. Interment will follow at Beech Bluff Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held from 1pm-3pm before the service.

Mrs. Evans passed away May 30, 2023 in Beech Bluff, TN. She was born October 24, 1926 in Lexington, TN to the late Johnny R. Thomas and Carrie Fowler Thomas. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leroy Evans; brothers, O’Neal Thomas, Billy Thomas; sister, Magdolene Buck.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Larry Evans (Lynn); daughter, Delores Flew; sister, Cornelia Hall; grandchildren, Glenda Arnold (Brian), Josh Evans (Angelina), Andrew Evans (Melissa), Paul Evans (Brandi); five great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
