Larry Wayne Ray

Mr. Larry Wayne Ray, age 68, passed away on July 6, 2022, at his home in Beech Bluff, TN. He was born on January 16, 1954, in Madison County, TN to the late Elmer Lee Ray and Norma Jean Towater Ray. Mr. Ray served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Forrestal in the Vietnam War. He retired from Packaging Corporation of America where he worked most of his adult life. Mr. Ray was proceeded in death by both his parents; a brother, Steve Ray; a sister, Doris Stanford; a son, Jason Lee Ray. Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Edith Ray; his son, Billy Ray; two stepsons, Keith Poole and Kevin Foged; a brother, Danny Ray; a sister, Elizabeth Gaffney; ten Grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews all of whom loved him dearly. A memorial service for Mr. Ray will be held at 1 pm Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Ray officiating.
