Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Clarence Maples, Sr., age 78, will be held at 2 pm Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Carl White officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, from 4-7 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home and 12-2 pm before the service. Mr. Maples passed away on August 30, 2022, in Jackson, TN. He was born on September 2, 1943, in Mercer, TN to the late John Charlie Maples and Wilma Ann Byrum Maples. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Clarence Maples, Jr.; grandson, Zachery Smith; brothers, Billy O’Neal Maples, Taylor Maples, Kenneth Maples, Harry Maples; sister, Johnnie Mayfield. Mr. Maples is survived by his wife, Patsy Maples; son, Danny Roberson; daughters, Elicia Smith, Amy Leonard; brother, Charles Maples (Betty); brother-in-law, Bill Ozment (Gloria); sister-in-law, Barbara Maples; sister, Marylin Fleet; grandchildren, Bryan Roberson (Sarah), Chris Leonard (Renee), Ann Roberson, Matt Leonard (Morgan), Joey Smith, Shelby Roberson (Ariel), Hannah Smith, Kaylee Maples, Laney Maples; great grandchildren, Khloe, Hunter, Madison, Colton, Katlyn, Conner, Daniel, Mia, Mason, James, Sebastian, Dallas, and Danielle.
