James "Jimmy" Benton Teague

Funeral services for Mr. James "Jimmy" Benton Teague, age 85, will be held at 11 am Friday, April 29, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Beecham officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11 am before the service. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to Malesus Methodist Church. Mr. Teague passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022, at his home in Jackson, TN. He was born on September 20, 1036, in Memphis, TN to the late J.B. Teague and Ruth Smith Teague. Mr. Teague is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris R. Teague; brother, Jerry Teague; stepmother, Joyce Teague Patton. Mr. Teague is survived by his sons, Jeff Teague (Kim) of Henderson, TN, Andy Teague (Tonjua) of South Carolina, Sam Teague of Pickwick, TN; brothers, Sammy Teague of Jackson, TN, David Teague (Candy) of Brownsville, TN; sisters, Jorica Moore (Ted) of Waverly, TN, Patsey Markum (Bobby) of Paris, TN; grandchildren, Lindsey Owens (David), Ripley Owens (Dane), Tyler Teague (Trenity), David Dexter, and Elizabeth Nelson (Matthew).
