Elizabeth Puckett Brown

Elizabeth Brown, age 101, West Palm Beach, passed away at her home on September 17, 2018. She was born September 9, 1917 to the late Sam and Della Puckett of Denmark, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Brown; three sisters, Wilma West, Esther Russell and Ethel Staggs; one brother, Bill Puckett; two nephews, Jim West and Billie Brown Joyner. Mrs. Brown was born in Denmark, TN and attended Columbia institute (Columbia, TN) where she graduated as a beautician in 1938. Mrs. Brown was a strong woman of faith and cherished by her family. She is survived by two nieces, Darlliene Haney, Rookie Corley; two nephews, Clyde Puckett and Sonny West; several great nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018, 2-3 pm with service at 3:00 pm at Denmark Presbyterian Church with Pastor Joel Pledge officiating. Interment will follow at Marvins Chapel Cemetery in Brownsville, TN. Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home will be in charge of the services.
