Cletus Isaac Benfield

Funeral services for Mr. Cletus Isaac Benfield, age 85, will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 7, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Truman Benfield officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mr. Benfield passed away on January 2, 2022, in Jackson, TN. He was born on December 9, 1936, in Harvey, IL to the late Ernest Elmer Benfield and Mable Mae Surface Benfield. Mr. Benfield was a senior pastor at Jackson Gospel Assembly Church for 39 years. Mr. Benfield is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jamie Faye Benfield; sisters, Gladys Benfield, Juanita Benfield; brother, Clyde Benfield; daughter, Jamie Faye Benfield. Mr. Benfield is survived by his sons, Gene Benfield (Debbie), David Benfield (Pam); daughters, Kathy Robertson, Luanne Broome (Ronnie), Becky Wilmoth (Kalvin); eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 pm Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
