Anthony "Tony" Ralph Trimmer

Mr. Tony Trimmer of Beech Bluff passed away peacefully Sunday morning March 13, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family after fighting a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Tony was a lifelong member of East Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the West Tennessee Emmaus Community and served on several Emmaus teams. He was a man with a strong faith in God and wanted to share that faith and love for his Lord with others. Tony was a master craftsman. He was a certified welding instructor and inspector, a licensed plumber, a carpenter, a pipe fitter and fabricator as well as a master of many other trades. His areas of expertise were many and his knowledge will be greatly missed. He retired in 2018 from Proctor and Gamble maintenance contract services after working there for 28 years. Tony was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Most importantly, he was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Jenny for 37 years, a wonderful father to his son Kurt and a very proud grandfather to his grandson Gaitley Ford. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Carthen Trimmer and Helen Vestal Trimmer. Tony is survived by his wife, Jenny (Glover) Trimmer, son Kurt Trimmer, grandson Gaitley Ford Trimmer, sister Sheila Trimmer Johnson and husband Chris, brother Mark Trimmer and Susan, and sister-in-law Bonita Anderson and husband Don. He is also survived by four nephews, Bradley Anderson and wife Andreana, Johnny Anderson and wife Brandy, Coty Trimmer and Justin Bailey, and four great nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at East Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Callicoatt and Rev. Dennis Renshaw officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till the time of the service. Honorary Pallbearers are Kurt Trimmer, Gaitley Ford Trimmer, Mark Trimmer, Chris Johnson, and Don Anderson.
